Crocmedia promotes melbourne foot race

Crocmedia Australia has been appointed by entrepreneur Mark Pennell of International Communications and Events to promote the inaugural Aviva Investors Melbourne Mile. The event – a foot race over one mile (1.6km) – will be run on Melbourne’s landmark boulevard, St Kilda Road, on Thursday, November 13.  Entrants will be supporting the Peter McCallum Cancer Foundation and the Heart Foundation of Victoria.

Miranda Kerr sizzles in summer

New York–based Australian modelling sensation Miranda Kerr appeared on the runway for leading Australian retailer David Jones last month. Crocmedia manages David Jones publicity in Victoria. In her first official visit to Melbourne as David Jones’ fashion ambassador, Kerr wowed the 500 plus guests at Melbourne Town Hall which featured the latest summer fashion.


Off The Bench makes its tv debut

Crocmedia’s successful Off the Bench radio program has spun off into a TV program. Off the Bench TV is dedicated to Australian Rules Football fans in regional Victoria. The 30–minute show now screens on the WIN TV network at 11.15pm and focuses on leagues from across Victoria and southern New South Wales. It is hosted by Crocmedia CEO and AFL broadcaster, Craig Hutchison and former Geelong star Liam Pickering. Thank you to McDonald’s and TAC for their support in this exciting initiative.


The all night appetite - lovely

Crocmedia welcomes Melbourne–based The Pancake Parlour as naming rights partner for the SEN 1116 overnight radio broadcast, All Night Appetite. The Pancake Parlour’s menu, including pancakes, salads, fish and steak, will be incorporated into the 12 midnight – 6am Monday to Friday show.

BAM Americans try natural Mosquito repellent

Crocmedia has signed mosquito–repellant wrist band Bug Bam! as a PR client in America. Australian entrepreneur and Bug Bam! creator, Joseph Symond, is raising awareness of natural ways to combat mosquitoes and ward off the potentially deadly West Nile virus. The red wristband is attracting media attention as a safe and practical device for kids and adults. Symond was recently a guest on San Francisco TV program, View from the Bay, and is scheduled to appear on Fox TV Connecticut in mid–September to discuss holistic ways to stay healthy and avoid insect–related infections.
