A magazine story facilitated by Crocmedia Singapore has been voted top story in the 2008 AsiaOne People’s Choice Awards.

Crocmedia invited a reporter from premier online lifestyle publication PlushAsia to experience an evening of extravagance on-board an opulent super yacht. The story received significant interest from readers and later won the annual "Top Story" award.

AsiaOne People’s Choice Awards is an annual event where readers vote for their favourite story/product/review among the Top 10 lists.

TANKS A LOT TANKS A LOT

Crocmedia client Storm Sustainability, an Australian and US-based company specializing in water and solar management, has just celebrated a significant milestone.

Over the last 18 months Storm has been installing water tanks on every Scout Hall across Australia in the largest community-based water-saving project ever undertaken in the country.

Storm commemorated the installation of the 1000th water tank in the project. The initiative will save the equivalent of 3000 Olympic sized swimming pools of water over the next four years.

OFF THE BENCH TV BEGINS IN APRIL

Crocmedia Australia’s first foray into television production begins in April when Off the Bench TV premieres on regional TV screens on the WIN Television network.

The program, a spin-off from Crocmedia’s flagship radio program Off the Bench, will commence on April 9 and be shown on Thursday nights following the Nine Network’s award-winning The Footy Show. The program will be repeated each Saturday morning for 24 weeks throughout the Australian football season.

WIN TV is Australia’s largest regional television network, broadcasting to all areas of the country, reaching an audience of millions.

McDonald’s has signed on as co-naming rights sponsors of the program, continuing its support of providing local sports content to regional areas.

TAC, the Victorian Government’s chief transport accident body, is co-naming rights sponsor and will deliver the message of road safety to Victorians through the program.

Crocmedia’s Melbourne office has been appointed to manage PR campaigns for Australian companies Good Vibes for You (GVFY), Preshafruit and Whitelion.

GVFY aims to assist the planet and the people on it towards health and happiness.

Preshafruit has created a range of new fruit juices and fruit coulis high in natural vitamins and contain no artificial additives.

Whitelion is a not–for–profit organisation which works closely with young people who have gone through the youth justice system to give them the opportunity of a normal life.

Crocmedia Melbourne has also been retained to manage media and red carpet arrivals for the annual Tag Heuer Grand Prix event with Tag Heuer Ambassador and World Champion FI driver Lewis Hamilton. The event will take place in Melbourne on March 26.
