Tyson recently completed another successful Crocmedia-produced US media tour in San Francisco, Sacremento, Los Angeles, Pheonix and Chicago teaching viewers DIY tips whilst promoting his tool company, Redback Tools.
The Beverly Hills-based ROAR will develop TV show projects for Tyson and help distribute his Redback Tools range in Lowe’s stores across the US. ROAR manages successful Australian entertainers and brands including Julian McMahon, Natalie Bassingwaithe, Chris Hemsworth and Priscilla Dunstan. Crocmedia helped publicize Australia’s innovative, world-class food and sustainable fishing practices on nearly 60 TV news shows to an estimated 8.5 million Americans last week, with a story about a jumbo Aussie southern rock lobster.
The vivid orange rock lobster was such a hit in the Australian Pavilion at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, that show-goers nicknamed him “Wow” Pavilion sponsor Australian Made, Australian Grown and trade group Southern Rocklobster Ltd decided to donate him to the Shedd Aquarium, as an unofficial mascot of all things uniquely Australian.

Americans discovered daredevil New Zealand celebrity fisherman and Crocmedia client Matt Watson, when The Ultimate Fishing Show, debuted on US television last month.
Watson reeled in new US viewers via a dramatic viral internet campaign which included a video of the high-spirited Kiwi plunging from a helicopter into the ocean and grabbing a large Marlin fish with his bare hands.

Crocmedia client, Western Fishboat Owners Association (WFOA), dished up albacore salads and other seafood recipes to consumers at a recent seafood show in Monterey, California.
WFOA is in talks with a major upscale grocery chain to conduct in-store demonstrations of the troll-caught tuna, which until recently was largely exported to Europe and Asia.
Crocmedia promotes “Wild Pacific Albacore” tuna across America. It is heart-healthy with high levels of Omega-3s and is gaining attention among prominent West Coast chefs.

Crocmedia General Manager (Melbourne) Lisa Bond assisted the launch of a new awareness campaign being run by the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI). The new campaign is designed to raise public awareness of a variety of children’s health issues.
Lisa was recruited to the development board of the MCRI in 2007 to assist with the marketing and publicity strategy.
The institute is the largest child health research institute in Australia. Its team of 1000 researchers is currently focussed on finding cures for conditions such as obesity, cancer, asthma, diabetes, allergies and premature birth.
Sarah Murdoch fronts the new awareness campaign, launched nationally on July 1.
Sarah has been the ambassador of MCRI since 2000. It was her husband Lachlan’s grandmother Dame Elisabeth Murdoch who established the institute in 1986.
