FRANCES MURPHY

Frances Murphy

Award-winning journalist and television presenter Frances Murphy has developed Media Ready, Crocmedia’s personalized media training program. She draws on her vast news and sports reporting experience - including covering two Olympic Games, news reading, sports commentary, Melbourne Cup TV broadcast, and a travel program – to teach corporate leaders and sportspeople the tricks and trade secrets of performing in the media.

A former elite iron woman and ocean swimming competitor and accomplished MC/event host, Murphy provides a unique insight into all areas of the media, with her Media Ready program receiving rave reviews from all participants.

MIMI KWA

Mimi Kwa

Mimi Kwa has experience in all manner of broadcast media. She has reported on local and world events, as well as interviewing many newsworthy and influential celebrities and personalities for Australia's key TV networks. She is currently a news anchor for the ABC and, on a corporate level, hosts the National Australia Bank's in-house TV business programs. Kwa produces and hosts corporate videos and conducts media training. She writes restaurant and wine reviews as well as dabbling in personal property developments. Mimi's tertiary qualifications begin with her degree in arts and architecture at UWA and her subsequent qualifications are in journalism at the WA academy of performing arts (WAPPA). Mimi was chosen from 3000 candidates for a cadetship with the ABC. She was quickly poached by Nine News and then A Current Affair. After having her first of now three children she returned to the ABC anchoring its international AUSNET news service and Sunday mornings on Barry Cassidy's Insiders program. Mimi feels privileged to be able to pass on her knowledge so that others can benefit from her broad experience.
